The Cheating Spouse and Tough Economic Times
Many people are saying that the tough economic times means that the instances of cheating are on the rise!
Basically people are looking for comfort and joy and if the pressures are great at home, then anywhere that they can find that comfort and joy, they’ll take it! Even if that warm place is out of the house in someone else’s bed!
First of all, whether times are tough financially, you simply have to sit down with your spouse and explain what is going on with the finances and or your job, and you have to do so straight away. There is no point not letting your spouse in on the real deal of how things are. If you choose to hide the real situation from your unsuspecting spouse, then you are carrying too much weight on your shoulders. You need to share that weight with your spouse. Sharing in this way is part of the deal of a marriage/relationship.
Pretty much some men can have a problem with sharing the truth about their finances with their female partners. They wrongly believe that being in financial difficulty is a sign that their man-hoods are not what they should be. This could not be further from the truth. We are in a global recession and many of the situations that people are suddenly finding themselves in could not have been foreseen. So don’t take any financial difficulty you might be experiencing as a slight on your capabilities as a man.
Instead step up and be a REAL MAN and do the sharing and the talking!
If you can share with your spouse, then you are both forced to face reality. Ignoring the situation or not sharing is a surefire way to bring on and encourage problems within your marriage/relationship. Problems in your marriage/relationship might very well quickly lead to you being a cheating spouse.
So today sit down with your spouse and do some honest caring and sharing!
