“I Caught My Wife Cheating!”
I had an email from a heartbroken husband, we’ll call him Andy and he and his wife, let’s call her Sue, had only been married for two years. Yep, you guessed it, the email was entitled “I Caught My Wife Cheating – I Don’t Know What To Do!”
Andy told me how he’d thought something was up because over the last month prior to him catching his wife cheating, he had noticed that she had become withdrawn and very insular and just wasn’t her usual talkative and affection self – Andy said their love life virtually stopped, but he just thought she needed some time and space and so he backed off and didn’t tackle her about what was going on with her. He loved her and thought he was doing the best for her and their relationship.
It all came to ahead though, when he thought he’d surprise Sue with a romantic evening meal and came home early from work to cook it! Well that’s when he walked in on her cheating on him with some guy from her work.
Luckily for Andy he managed to control himself and he took the initial heat out of the situation by walking right back out the front door.
My point is, if you feel things have changed in your marriage and there is no obvious reason why, then you need to get in there and talk to your spouse about what is going on.
Andy sensed a change in Sue weeks before, but he made virtually no attempt to tackle her and face whatever was wrong. He just gave her space and when someone’s cheating on you, space is the last thing you want to give them.
DO NOT ignore the signs of any change in your relationship! Don’t wind up sending me an email entitled – “I Caught My Wife Cheating – I Don’t Know What To Do!” Get on in there and talk things out and if you can’t, then I highly recommend you get hold of Save My Marriage Today!
